THE SOCIAL DEDUCTION GAME OF SABOTAGE, SUSPICION, AND SANDWICHES

WHAT IS THE HEIST?

Grab your friends, shuffle the deck, and plan the world’s least professional crime spree.

In The Heist, every card counts, from chainsaws to rubber ducks, and every player could be your ally… or the detective waiting to throw you to the cops.

Just remember; if the floor turns into lava, it’s probably not going to plan.

PLAY THE FREE TESTER VERSION

While we work on delivering the full game, we'd like your feedback on the basic mechanics of The Heist.

We've created a lite version of the game that you can print and play at home with friends and we've provided a quick start guide to get you going.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When is the game available?

The Heist is still in active development! We’re testing, tweaking, and occasionally setting the blueprints on fire. If you’d like to know when the game is ready (and maybe even grab early print-and-play versions), sign up to our mailing list and we’ll keep you up to date.

Can I make my own version?

We love the enthusiasm, but here’s the deal:

  • The Heist is shared under a Creative Commons BY–NC–SA 4.0 license.

  • That means:

    • You must give credit to the original creators.

    • You can’t make money from it (non-commercial use only).

    • Any remix or spin-off must be shared under the same license.

  • And no, you can’t upload it to app stores or sell it anywhere.

This isn’t the full legal fine print, so it’s your responsibility to make sure you’re respecting the license.

How many people can play?

The Lite print-and-play works with 4 players. The full game will support 4–8 players for maximum chaos.

What makes this different from other social deduction games?

Instead of just pointing fingers, you’re actually building a score together. Every Crew card matters — some add points, some lose points, and Wildcards can completely flip the outcome. It’s deduction with sabotage, bluffing, and a dash of absurd humour (Exploding Sandwich, anyone?).
